Shyam discusses Komal’s second marriage with Sajjan. Sajjan objects to the idea of Komal’s remarriage and insults Shyam. Abhimanyu and Pratigya support a woman’s lawful right to remarry after being widowed. Krishna warns Abhimanyu to stay out of his family affairs. Komal learns that Shyam wants her to remarry and threatens to kill Chinky and herself if he insisted on it. Krishna forbids Abhimanyu to use any of the bathrooms in the house. Abhimanyu defies him and uses Sajjan’s bathroom.
