Fire In Suttilal’s Shop Mama reveals Suttilal that a customer has given him a massive order of sweets & Samosa and has also given advance worth 5000 rupees but Suttilal disagrees to help him and also forces Mama to return the money as he has to work in the temple but Mama succeeds in convincing him later, Lapataganj villagers couldn’t believe their eyes that Mama was preparing sweets and helping Suttilal to complete a big order in Suttilal’s shop and also appreciates his efforts but a tragedy occurs as fire takes place in Suttilal’s shop and Mircha fumes in anger as she comes to know that Mama bought low quality Oil which caught fire in the shop and Kachua slaps Mama and himself too. Will Suttilal, Mircha and whole Lapataganj forgive Mama? “Based in an imaginary small town called “Lapataganj” (means a lost place), the story is inspired from the writings of Sharad Joshi-who was an eminent Hindi satirist. His wide range of work has highlighted the bitter truth of our society with a satirical punch. These stories while making us laugh; also make us empathize with the situations we face in our daily lives. “Lapataganj” is a town in some part of India which has been long forgotten by the system. The town struggles daily for basic facilities yet the people residing there are the happiest of the lot. The show captures the spirit of a common man to lead a happy life against all odds.”
