Krishna shocks his family by declaring that Sajjan is dead to him. He performs Sajjan’s funeral rites even though he is still alive. Kesar curses Pratigya for Krishna’s actions. Krishna threatens Abhimanyu with dire consequences for going along with Sajjan’s plan and humiliating Pratigya. He disregards Sajjan’s warning and brings Pratigya back to his house. Sajjan threatens to shoot them but Krishna claims to have the right to live in the house with Pratigya.
