Aditya helps Pankhuri with her shopping. Latika’s mother believes that Aditya’s betrothal to Pankhuri was broken due to his mental illness. She confronts Avantika with the news and breaks Latika’s alliance to Aditya. Avantika becomes enraged by the rumour. Purshottam and Harish rejoice the cancellation of the engagement. Aditya informs Avantika that he has invited Pankhuri to dinner. Latika hears the rumour about Aditya’s illness and declines his dinner invitation.
