Sushila performs Tejal’s mooh dikhai rasam in her room. She trains her to win Sanyukta’s approval. She tells her to wake up early in the morning to prepare for kuldevta puja. Monikangana plans to sabotage their efforts. Sanyukta warns Sushila that she will hold her responsible if anything goes wrong with the puja. Sushila tells Tejal and Monikangana to fast for the puja but Monikangana eats breakfast in secret. Aniket fasts for Tejal. Sanyukta scolds Sushila for forgetting to buy rangoli powder.
