Krishna’s plan fails as Sumitra sleeps in the hall when Sajjan does not fix the electricity problem in her room. Shakti replaces the fuse in her room. Dadi tells Sumitra to eat fruits as she fasts for Navratri. Krishna scolds Sumitra for eating Pratigya’s fruit. Pratigya tells Dadi that they are ill treating Sumitra to make Sajjan defend her. Sumitra prepares gujiya. Krishna criticises her preparation and plans to throw it out. Sajjan tastes it and defends her.
