The police inspector releases Abhimanyu and Mehak from jail. Shobha brags to the neighbours that Abhimanyu is innocent. She taunts Tarachand and Veena by accusing Saanchi of murder. Saanchi sees the thugs who work for the murderer spying on her. She tries to lure the murderer by going to the university campus alone at night. Indu finds Mishraji. Mishraji gives him Saanchi’s property papers. He informs the police and Indu that his kidnapper wears a gold ring with a black stone on his left hand.
