At night, Meenakshi grinds the medicine Vedhrani had given her using a pestle and mortar. Santosh hears the grinding noise from Meenakshi’s room and investigates. Meenakshi lies to her that she was preparing medicine for Vikram’s stomach ache. Professor Rajat conducts a question and answer session with the students. Lakshman prides himself on being first in the class and ridicules Sandhya for competing with him. Sooraj panics when Santosh goes to his room and notices Sandhya’s absence.
