Santosh asks Sandhya to stitch baby clothes. Sooraj tells Sandhya to get ready for her first day of evening college. They plan to sneak out of the house after everyone is asleep, but Santosh stays up at night to prepare chakki for the wedding. Sandhya convinces Sooraj to let her go to Ajmer alone while he helps Santosh. Vikram sneaks into the kitchen to get the pestle and mortar, to grind the medicine Vedhrani had given Meenakshi. Bhabasa becomes sick after eating the cashew nuts.
