Santosh asks Sandhya to wear cotton sarees to college. She performs aarti for Sandhya and asks Sooraj to drop her to the college. Bhabasa tells Sooraj that it will take time to mend his relationship with Santosh. He advises Sandhya to study well. The rest of the family contemplates Santosh’s actions. Malati informs Sandhya that the classes have been cancelled due to the disturbance caused by the crowd worshipping the miracle god idol in the campus. Santosh stitches clothes for Sooraj’s baby.
