Reacting to the Tamil Nadu government’s decision to ban screening of Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopamin the state, filmmaker Sajid Khan said cinema cannot create communal divide or hurt anybody’s sentiments. “Hindus go to temple, Muslims go to mosque, Christians go to church, but you don’t know who is from which community when you all sit together to watch cinema. Any person from cinema, self-respecting person from cinema will never make any communal divide or hurt anybody’s sentiments,” Sajid, who is currently busy with Himmatwala remake, told reporters on Thursday.
