Ratan condemns the teacher’s actions in the panchayat. Nihal objects when the panchayat decides to forgive the teacher with a simple warning. He canvasses for the end of corporal punishment in school. Balwant, as the Sarpanch, declares that corporal punishment in school will be severely condemned by the panchayat and the police. Nihal and the villagers sing and dance to cheer up Veera. Ranvijay and his friends dress up in animal costumes. Veera identifies Ranvijay and dances with him.
