Cheating has recently been a hot topic; players were initially caught cheating during online matches, and if that wasn't bad enough, they've now begun cheating at tournaments as well. Checkmate Gaming was organizing an unofficial paid tournament when one of the players was found cheating while attempting to establish that he wasn't using any hackers to get an unfair edge.
Checkmate Gaming organized a 2v2 Search and Destroy Tournament in Call of Duty: Vanguard and a gamer by the name of Kenji was one of the participants. The opposition was not pleased with their defeat and decided to investigate after he won the match and received the prize money.
Kenji was streaming his bouts on a webcam, and the opposition was able to find out the cause for his dominance in the competition thanks to this feed. People may easily see a little box flash up on the feed, indicating Kenji's whereabouts. This trick is known as a Wall Hack because it enables players to discover their opponents' positions via walls without having to see them.

Through his own stream, which was now removed along with his account, the opponents, ImSasukee and iLuhvly, were quick to discover his cheating. Kenji was quickly barred from ever playing in another Checkmate Gaming competition. By playing in this event, Kenji has collected a sizable sum of money. Furthermore, Kenji, along with his colleagues, has been barred from competing in a College League Tournament since the incident. Kenji was competing in a Call of Duty College League Tournament for Grand Canyon University, however, because his cheating was exposed, the player and his teammates were disqualified, and Kenji was banned for life.
