The film struggled to maintain its momentum, registering ₹20 crore on the second day. The overall occupancy on Friday was reported at 31.22 percent in the Hindi market. Notably, Mumbai and Chennai displayed the highest occupancy rates compared to other cities across India. "Dunki" made its debut in cinemas on the 21st of the month.
Film trade analyst Ramesh Bala projected a promising weekend for the movie, stating, “Early estimates for Dunki day 2 all-India NBOC is ₹21 crore+. NBOC weekend will be big.”
