A young and dynamic band with an aim to create a new sound, bringing influences from Bhangra, Bollywood, Urban and World Fusion music. This band are busy performing, writing, producing & releasing their own original songs. Currently, this is the only bollywood band in UK producing its own original songs which are regularly played on asian radio and tv channels. Featuring lead singer ‘Shama’, who has previously toured in South America, Caribbean, West Africa, Dubai, Europe and UK. She has performed with artistes from the Bollywood music industry like Anup Jalota, Sukhwinder Singh, Nitin Mukesh and Mangal Singh. Shama is also the only UK artiste to have performed at the prestigious Diwali on Trafalgar Square celebrations 4 years in a row. This event attracts crowds of over 30000 each year. The line-up is an eight piece band: lead female vocals from Shama, 2 male singers, 5 musicians – keyboard, drummer, lead guitar, bass guitar and indian percussion. The band covers a huge repertoire of songs from bollywood to bhangra, and some selected english songs too! Performances include mehfils, dinner & dances, stage shows, melas & corporate shows.
